Hello to summer!!!

Wow...it was just coming winter when I last posted on this blog. There's just not enough hours in the day to get it all done...one thing for sure, it's just another validation of how fast time really is flying.

I've two new series to share with you. The first one is called "Wisdom of the Heart". It's borne through an effort to reconnect with my own heart. Each painting will have a little bit of wisdom scratched into the paint. I hope you enjoy this new series. This painting is called: "Gather Together". The little bit of Wisdom reads: "Gather together to change the frequency to ~LOVE~.

The second series is a collaboration between myself and my long-time bestest bud, Harvey "Two Feathers" Baker. The series is Totem Animal Shields. These three are the first in the series. Be sure to check out my ebay store for more details and pricing.

It seems you turn around twice and another month has passed. I hope that everyone is doing well and that Halloween was a joyous occasion for all the little, and big, trick or treaters. We're well on our way to Thanksgiving so I thought perhaps I'd better make a post before another month slipped by.

Hot off the Presses!!!

I'd like to introduce to you "A Million Miles Away". I finished this painting yesterday. It's funny how these things evolve. I thought her eyes were supposed to be looking at the pottery...she had other things in mind.

Beginning October 1 and running through October 31, 2005, you can see my work at the Red Door Coffeehouse in Groton, NY. This is another one woman show...I hope to have approximately 25 pieces included. The above work holds the place of honor as the focal point of the show. Hello to Fall!!!!

I just LOVE this time of year. Always seems to bring out the nesting in me. Time to batton down the hatches for winter, harvest all those goodies in the garden, and paint paint paint. This fall has brought me this unbelieveable wave of creativity. It is said that the Spider Goddess represents creativity...well...it's no wonder then that I'm producing like I am. I have found Daddy Longlegs everywhere...and I do mean everywhere!! Including my britches!! Not at all a pleasant find!

Announcing new series!!!!

The summer is just about over! A week from today my son, Jacob, will be moving into his dorm and I'll be doing the empty nest dance. But...I'm looking forward to this time in my life with enthusiasm and anticipation. Just think!! I can now spend the majority of my time devoted to creating!!! How could I not be excited??

Speaking of creating...I've listed a couple of new paintings in a new series!!! The new series is called "White Hairs"...in honor of the Indian ancestors that have gone on before us. This series will be Indian portraits. I'm going to try to post a picture here...please bear with me...of each of the new paintings. I hope you enjoy!!!!!!!
